PARTRIDGE BMW POWER’S LYMINGTON SEAFOOD FESTIVAL TO NEW FOODIE HEIGHTS

Cruising into its ninth year of foodie entertainment the Lymington Seafood Festival is delighted to welcome Partridge BMW has headline sponsors for this summers event.

Taking place on Friday 11 to Sunday 13 July, the festival has established a reputation as one of the south coasts best foodie days out, crammed with over 100 different seafood dishes, a chef’s stage hosting the region’s best and a cookery school.

The partnership with the Hampshire based dealership also allows the festival to build on their environmental credentials which saw a switch from diesel to bio-fuels and recycle over 67% of its waste.

The Partridge of Hampshire team will also be showcasing other latest electric models from the BMW fleet and to give festival attendees a helping hand will be offering mobile charging points powered by BMW technology.

Set to stunning views across the Solent estuary foodies can expect to sample scallops, lobster, local crab, mussels in various ways, cod cheeks, seafood tacos, mackerel, king crevettes, surf n’ turf as well as dishes from all four corners of the world.
 
There’s plenty of open fire cooking with Nordic Flammlach salmon, the Comanche BBQ Grill and Smokehouse and a pop up restaurant with Great British Chef finalist Gavin Barnes serving up a feast of bream, John Dory and red mullet all cooked over coals.
 
The Chefs Stage is hosted by TV foodie Chris Bavin with chefs from sponsors Chewton Glen, Lime Wood Hotel and The Pig as well as showcasing chefs from the best local restaurants.
 
There’s an intimate Cookery School with a range of classes for young budding chefs and grown-up food lovers to book – with more announcements coming soon.
 
With live music across the three days including Friday nights headliners Genesis Connected tribute band. Rocking the festival vibes will be soul, blues, Motown, ska and a big helping of pop and indie classics.
 
Over 10,000 food lovers are expected to descend on Lymington over the three days to sample some of the best local food and drink from artisan producers. From locally brewed craft beers, gins, vodka and rums along with award-winning English sparkling wine from Hampshire’s Hattingley Valley.
